2. In short

This is a static website. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and loads no third-party content (for example fonts, maps or videos) from other servers. Fonts are served from our own server. There are no forms; we only receive personal data if you choose to send us an e-mail.

3. Hosting

The website is served via Cloudflare Pages, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data, in particular IP address, date and time of access, requested address, amount of data transferred, referrer and browser and operating system information. This data is needed to deliver the website, keep it stable and secure, and defend against attacks.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable provision of the website. We do not analyse this data ourselves or combine it with other data.

Cloudflare processes the data on our behalf under its Data Processing Addendum (Art. 28 GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR) and additionally on standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).

4. Contact by e-mail

If you contact us by e-mail, for example using the "Request a pilot by e-mail" button, we process the data you provide (such as name, e-mail address, organisation, phone number and details about your building) to answer your request. The button only opens your own e-mail program; no data is stored on this website.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering requests). We delete your data once the request has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply (for example under commercial or tax law).

Our mailboxes are operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, as processor.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). Please contact us at the e-mail address above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). Our competent authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.

6. Further information

No automated decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR), takes place. You are not obliged to provide personal data; without it, however, we cannot answer your request.
